Sabretooth is not his brother. The movies are not correct, he takes the name of Logan, because that is the last name of the caretaker and father of Dog at the Howlett estate, who is actually his father because his mother had an affair. (one thing they did get right in the film). I have every Wolverine comic from the very start to the present. There is not a more loyal fan on this planet, and I have been collecting them for the last 20 years. I know Wolverine like I know myself.

There is a slight variation in the stories as compared from the comics to the movies. Hollywood tends to change the story slightly ... ;)
