Why is Gambit left out on X-Men movies?

I would like to know why Gambit is the only main character that is left out on all of the X-Men movies. He is my favorite character, and I would like to see him in live action. If you watch the cartoons, he always is one of the lead characters. I hope someone is cast for Gambit in the new X-Men movie!

Hey Melissa,

I understand your frustration about not casting Gambit as i am a pretty big fan of him as well. I always thought he was one of the coolest and smoothest characters in the X-men (that's why all the girls love him).
